DON'T CLOSE THAT WINDOW

Good morning my sisters and brothers in Christ Jesus!

(Psalms 32:4-5), For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah I acknowledge my sin unto thee and mine iniquity have I not hid.  I said I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord, and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

Don’t close that window.  Each time that you pray, asking the Lord for His forgiveness you are keeping that glimmer of hope open, the window slightly open.  Each day that I loaded my body with drugs and alcohol I still prayed and worship God.

There was a time in my life when I considered myself to be too deep in sin. I should have or could have at any given time died.  I’m telling you about me, who I used to be.  You're not a hypocrite because you attend worship service or praise God, you're a sinner that loves the Lord, and that's why you praise and worship God!

I always share my stories of where came from, and what the Lord God bought me out to be a living witness to you. I know what it feels like when you believe the lie that you are out of God's reach or that your sin is so bad God has left you alone. God will never leave nor forsake you as long as you keep that window open.

How do you keep it open?  Prayer, asking for God’s forgiveness every day, and most of all, except God's grace and mercy. “Too many of His people are being tricked by the enemy, he whispers in the ears, telling you that you are too far gone and out of the Lord’s reach.  NO, you are the one sheep that Jesus is coming to get.

I’m not special, I just keep my window open by praying every day and asking the Lord for forgiveness.  I was in a place that only He could pull me out of.   If you keep that window open, you’re not too far gone.  You are not being a hypocrite, you just need a little help finding your way back.  LET US PRAY!!

Heavenly Father I pray that you forgive me for my sins. I ask You now that You keep me in Your loving arms.  Hide me from the enemy and those demonic forces surrounding my door.  Thank you for today and for giving me another chance to get it right today.  I know that all my blessings come from You, and I also know that I cannot earn Your grace and mercy but they are given to me freely.  Thank you, in Jesus name, AMEN.
